Pages 1-3 last entries on fiche: John James KENT - crew - unm - 23 - canal boatman - Leicester William Adam KENT - crew - unm - 17 - canal boatman - Leicester TAYLOR - Napton Memories, by Gordon Macpherson - Rugby. In his account he mentions his parents being born at Napton Village, his mother in Lock Cottage, Marston Doles where her father was lock keeper. His mother's brother was an ALBERT TAYLOR, and his son a GINGER TAYLOR who was lock keeper for many years at Napton bottom locks. If you come across any BARRATTS on the canals please let me know.
