Information, please, Is archived information (including census returns, boat owners etc.) available for the Sankey, Manchester/Bolton/Bury, and Bridgewater canals? If it is, will SKS please forward the addresses/telephone numbers/contacts etc. I've visited the Runcorn Boat Museum and had wonderful co-operation from the archives staff there as well as spending a few enjoyable and enlightening hours looking over the many exhibits but,unfortunately, I did not find much information on my boat-folk ancestors.
