    3. Hi All I have a family of LISSIMOREs. Supposedly from Gospel Oak. I have found no sign of them in regular C of E PRs etc. The father Thomas and "his" family seem to have dropped off the side of the globe. He died before 1837 so no sign of him there either. Does anyone have any idea of where a family would be registered at a nonconformist church/chapel if they were from Gospel Oak. One of his daughters described him as a boatman when she was married the second time, thats all the proof I have. He would have been born in the last decade of the 1700s I think. Obviously I don't have his marriage or the birth of his children. His wife might be an Elizabeth Moore from Amblecote. Haven't been able to find her birth either. All/any ideas very welcome. Are nonconformist records in the Staffordshire marriage List??
