I have extracted details of canal families both at Preston basin or places on the Lancaster canal for research on a book I am hoping to compile on life on the Lancaster canal on all available censuses. Here are some families on the 1901 census in the hope that someone is researching these names which in a lot of cases I have found the same families appearing on the earlier censuses. I have connected the families where possible by looking at the IGI but obviously cannot get details on them all. Any information gratefully received! I'll now list the first ones, the rest will follow later.
