    3. Goodday from Campbellford (On the Trent canal) Ontario. My g.grandfather & grandfather both were bargemen& watermen in the Mirfield/Goole area in circa 1800 /1850 Is there any listing books or other informtion thah could be checked to find more details of their lives --Henry Healey?Heley 1807 --1845 & EdwardHealey/Heley 1834 1845 --when they both came to Canada . Perhaps others in the family worked on the canals during & after that time?? Also are there maps available on the Yorkshire canal system?? I was in England back in 1979 pursuing my hobby of antique gas & steam engines & did wonder at the small size of some canals !! (didn't know about my canal connection at that time) ----- Any help is allways appreciated Larry Healey From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, February 23, 2000 3:10 AM Subject: Re: [CANAL-PEOPLE] Boatmen/women. > Hi, > I have no Brandreth family on the canal boats, but have Slater's from the > Tettenhall & Compton areas.
