Hi! I'm researching my Cheshire family tree. Some of the family were watermen working on the River Weaver on to the Liverpool docks, mainly in salt. The Cowley, Arnold and some Boden families seem to have worked on the boats in the last and nineteenth centuries. These are the names of my great grandparents and some details: James COWLEY b. 1858 (Barnton)- d.1934 Hannah CROSS b.1850-d.1928 Robert ARNOLD b.1846(Burscough,Lancs) Annie SENIOR b.1847 (Warrington) Thomas PHIPPS b.(Davenham)1853-1924 Mary HARDING (b.1853 Marston?) d.1930 Charles BODEN b.1849 (Wincham)-1902 Alice Ann PRINCE 1850-1932 I'd love to hear from any relatives out there!
