An uncle by marriage -was born in Eastern Ukraine -was considered Austrian . because they lived under the Austro Hungarian rule at the time. He and his family spoke German. Another family connection had family that originated in Norway -they were also considered Austrian. The information on a Death Certificate/Death Registration - is not always correct - most depends on the knowledge of the Informant. - which is sometimes incorrect .
