I would love to find a living relative of the line to see if they have more to add to the JONES side as well as their own. JONES' came to Canada between 1900 and 1912; with Edward Arthur JONES and Stanley Vaughan JONES arriving in about 1902. Their parents came later, as did their sisters. Edward and the sisters traveled back and forth to England a number of times. The PANTING line came from a marriage to one of Edward's daughters, Ethel Beatrice JONES to Christopher Leslie PANTING. I don't have a marriage date or children, but both Ethel and Christopher were born in 1906...both in England. By 1912 most of the JONES family had settled in Winnipeg, but Stanley and his wife, Mary Jane (nee BROWNRIGG) VICKERS, were first in Montreal then in Dilke, Saskatchewan, where my mother, Mavis JONES, was born in either 1912 or 1913. I haven't looked at 411 but suppose I could start calling some of them....good idea!
