He immigrated to Canada from British Guiana around 1914 when he was about 23. His parents, Rev. Robert Harrop Williams and Clara, were from Wales, and his sisters, Clara Edith Wynn and Gladys Gwendolyn, lived in England. I understand his sister Clara stayed with him in Canada from 1948 to 1951
