This is my gr gr grandfather who came to Montreal in 1825 - he was part of the Peter Robinson settlers, Peterborough, Ont. He did not go on to Peterborough. He was from Ballyhooley, Fermoy, Cork, Ire. His wife was Eliza Power (s), they married in Ireland. They had a least 4 children. The children below married in Montreal. Denis Doody married Eliza O'Neill - Denis went to Nebraska in the 1870's and later his sons went to California. Denis died in Nebraska and his body was returned to Montreal for burial Ann Doody married John Brown Patrick Doody married Eliza Hory. John Doody's death notice.
