He was married to an Elisabeth DAWKINS in the years of 1953-1993 (she passed away in 1993). We have information about the DAWKINS family of Maryland, and later Upper Darby, PA, and further connections to that family. Now still searching for a connection to the surname MARTEL. Connection to DAWKINS is by marriage sometime around 1953. Joseph Florian MARTEL was born sometime around 1929. He possibly returned to Canada (from Philadelphia, PA) around 1954. Also there were sisters of Joseph Florian MARTEL, much younger (maybe born around 1947), were known to be Lucille and Denise. Last known address was Catherine St. "??Chambley a' Longuierl???" said to be a suburb of Montreal, QC, CANADA. But, I am unsure of spelling or anything of that suburb.
