So, emigrated, got enumerated and married before he was born. I tried to find a marriage record for his parents in Québec: Clément Héroux or Clermont Héroux or Clément Leroux or Clermont Leroux and Marguerite Millat, Milet or Milette or Malette or Mallette to no avail. any way of getting some fine tuning of his parents' names? Regrettably, we do not have a Québec-wide death repertory for that period. What a strange translation of his surname to Wheeler which would have to initiate from La Roue. Roux is a mix of flour and butter that is cooked and turns light brown. Héroux and Leroux would never make Wheeler but I have no right to judge. keep in touch, Jean-Marie Hull, québec
