Below is her obituary. MIDDLEDITCH, Marlys Ruth passed away peacefully on August 16, 2003 at Mount Saint Joseph's Hospital. Predeceased by her parents William and Mary Middleditch. Survived by her sister Patricia Pratt (John), her nephew Kevin Pratt, her niece Sharon Hallsor (Bruce) and her great-niece Elisabeth. She will also be missed by her many friends. Marlys worked for the Vancouver Public Library for 45 years. She was a life member of the Soroptimist Club and the Brock House Society. Marlys was an ordained elder of the Presbyterian Church of Canada for 27 years. She served as Clerk of Session for the West Point Grey Presbyterian Church and was also a member of the Women's Missionary Society. A Celebration of Life will be held at West Point Grey Presbyterian Church, 4397 West 12th Avenue in Vancouver, on Monday, August 25 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Point Grey Presbyterian Church Session Fund.
