Was this a full form death Registration - including all personal information required at the time - or only a Certificate? The children were adopted - have you attempted to obtain the Adoption papers ? This may help to solve some of the questions. You believe that there was a Native American Marriage - have you checked at the location you mention.? Do you have any idea - where in Canada - the children were born? Search of the City Directory -< 1910 for RODDA -may show persons living at the residence -*Criss Cross Directory allows you to search by name - or by address. 1900 Census for U.S.A. ? U.S.Social Security Index shows: James RODDA - born October 22,1887 - Deceased January 1975 in Beaverton Washington. Social Security Information is available - but there is a fee - Rootsweb has a site - that allows you to print out a form letter etc. Perhaps an Obituary for James RODDA - may be helpful?
