Ancestry - copies information from information that is made available to them. All Births - Marriages - Deaths - ARE REGISTERED with the State Government - Vital Statistics Dept./State County Vital Statistics Depts. Deending ont he requirements at the time - the MARRIAGE -BIRTH -DEATH REGISTRATIONS will show all personal information required at the time. **A Birth,Marriage,Death CERTIFICATE - is an extract of BASIC INFOMATION - taken from the Registrations. Good for Proof of an Event - but does not hold all information that is not reqired for others to have access to. Copies REGISTRATIONS Can be ordered - if you know the date and place - aprox. Early ones may be held at a State Archive. A Google Search will give addresses of Vital Statistics offices - and information.
