Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/7aB.2ACEAE/663 Message Board Post: I am searching for a record of marriage, death, children for this person. Her father died when she was four and her mother -Sarah Haslup Sibley, left for England ca 1770, "bounding out", fostering or indenturing the younger children in Nova Scotia-possibly the Halifax area. One child was placed with a cobbler, name unknown. Cornelia may have married or left Nova Scotia sometime after 1780. Cornelia's father's first wife was named Cornelia as well, dying in 1750 and buried St. Pauls Cemetery, Halifax, N.S. If anyone encounters a Cornelia, maiden name Sibley, born 1762, Dutch grandparents William and Wilhelmina Haislup/Hayslup, birthplace Nova Scotia, I would sincerely appreciate contact.
