Hi, Anyone on this list know of any researchers for hire in Quebec City. I've been able to trace my Power(s) family Patrick Power(s) & Mary Ann(O'Neil) Power(s) famine Irish from 1846 - 1872. Patrick & Mary were married in 1848 in Quebec City their first child Michael E.Power(s) (my gr-grand father) was born in Quebec City in 1849, he came to the states in 1869. Along with his brother William R. in 1872. I lose Patrick in 1871 after Mary his wife dies in Quebec City. Around 1872 he marries Julie Buckingham in Quebec, no trace after this, mainly because I do not know where to look from here.. Patrick's parents were Michael Power(s) & Honoria Hassett , all from Ireland except children Mary's parents were Owen O'Neil & Margaret Moran, I'm assuming from Ireland.
