    2. Susan Gowen
    3. Hello Listers, I would like to begin a ROLL CALL beginning today, Monday, March 10 and ending Monday, March 17. This is a good opportunity for everyone on the list to post and hopefully make a connection. Please DO NOT "reply to" this message. Open a new email. ROLL CALL GUIDELINES: 1) DO NOT add the words "ROLL CALL" to your subject line. 2) SUBJECT LINE of email should read something like: Last name, first name, dates, place e.g. POWER, Michael (1798-1930 Ireland>Nova Scotia) OR WOLFE, Archibald 1800's - Canada 3)Include important info that you know, names, dates and locations. **Subject line is VERY important. Some folks only scan the subject line, so make it a good one, you don't want to miss making the connection you have been waiting for.** Good luck, everyone! Susan http://clix.to/susan

    1. [CGW] Esler, from Co Antrim Ireland, all provinces mi 1800s.
    2. Brian Webb
    3. The surname Esler according to the records from Ireland, Griffith's, reveals 60 households of that name in the whole of Ireland in 1840-60 and 56 of those were in Co Antrim. My dilemma is that Grt Grt Grandfather Robert married in Australia, came out in the 1852-3 era chasing gold, married in 1866, giving his parents names William and Mary Ann (nee Black), from Co Antrim. No other reference -Town/Barony/Parish etc. found. Believe there are relatives in Canada, one having been a Doctor. Brian Webb
