I have a similar problem with letters from the Ukraine. There are also snapshots enclosed with the letters and I can't even read the names on the backside of the photos. :( I live in Phelpston, Ontario, Canada, just on the outskirts of Barrie. I'm hoping that there is someone in the area or my neighbourhood that could translate them for me. Perhaps if you post your hometown you'll get lucky, like I hope I will.     3. Hi Noreen, Ukrainien Community Centre - Seniors Home [they would love visitors] , Ukrainian Church - are all places where you may get a translation . Night schools, Language Schools, Travel Agencies - who book travel to the Ukraine,May have persons who can translate for you. There are a couple of Mail lists - for persons researching their Ukrainian heritage,etc. Some listmembers do read and write the language.
