Hi list, This is just a friendly reminder to please empty your mail boxes regularly or if you are going away you may want to consider temporarily switching to "DIGEST" mode. There are many email addresses that are bouncing because of full mailboxes, etc. I have reduced the bounce threshold to 4 because there are so many bouncing addresses. (It is usually set at 8) This means that after 4 consecutive bounced emails, you will automatically be unsubscribed. You will then need to subscribe again to post or receive list messages. If you are not sure which lists you are subscribed to, visit Password Central located at http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/ and follow the instructions. I have included subscribe and unsubscribe instructions below : IMPORTANT: Change the word "LISTNAME" to the actual name of your list. e.g. for the Halifax, N.S. list, LISTNAME-L-request@rootsweb.com would change to CAN-NS-HALIFAX-L-request@rootsweb.com or for the POWER surname list it would change to POWER-L-request@rootsweb.com To contact any list admin LISTNAME-admin@rootsweb.com (remember to change the word Listname e.g. SPINDLER-admin@rootsweb.com) UNSUBSCRIBE To unsubscribe from "LIST mode" send a message to LISTNAME-L-request@rootsweb.com with only the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
