Surnames: Matthews, Mathews, Commings, Cummings Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/7aB.2ACEAE/921 Message Board Post: I'm looking for information on the following siblings Arthur Matthews born 1891, Effie Matthews born 1893, and Eleanor Matthews born 1895 in Ontario Canada. Their parents are Adam Matthews born 1847 in Ontario Canada and Margaret (last name unknown) born 1865. This family was found in the 1901 Census for Sheffield, Addington, Canada. Adam had a wife Joanna Commings born 1849 in Canada prior to his marriage to Margaret. Children of Adam and Joanna are John born 1869, George born 1874, Samuel born 1878, and Thomas born 1880. All of these children were born in Canada also. Any information on any of these parents or children would be greatly appreciated, I'm afraid that this is my brick wall for this family to date.
