His parents were Angus McDonald and Jennet McNeil. I have no details about Angus and Jennet other than that they later lived in Pembroke, Renfrew. (Malcolm married Mary McDonald/McDonnell in 1845 in Kenyon, Glengarry County.) Have you come across these names at all in your research? Regards, Donna
