First, Montreal is not good for genealogy, but my Sister lives there and if you give me the info you are looking for I will see what I can do for you. I too am looking for marriages in Montral. Now for Ottawa, yes they have extensive genealogy places. The best of all is The National Archives Of Canada, just type it in your search bar and it will take you there. I live in Ottawa, also give me your info and I will do some lookups from here as Next week I will be going to the archives myself to do some work on family tree. Will await your reply. Take care
