Rather, he was travelling with a Mary Ann Mew, age 52, married, a nurse, also from Kent, bound for her son, Mr. Absalom Mew, 37 Newton Street in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Stanley, aged 20, gives his friend's name, Mr. Edgar Mew, of 84 Newton Street, also of Holyoke, Massachusetts, as his destination. Arthur was bound for his brother, Mr. J. Maskell of Dolsbran House in Haverford, Pennsylvania. I do find a Stanley Smith in the 1906 Canadian census in Saskatchewan, age 23, single, hired man, b.England, emigrated 1903, in the home of John Wood, near the village of Pense, which is just west of the city of Regina. www.automatedgenealogy.com
