I do have his service records, was surprised to find him in US. I found him in the 1910 census at Ford DA Russell in Wyoming, figured out he was in the army and ordered his records. The family story was a bit mixed up because it was told down the line that the missing brother was my g grandmother's brother, not true her only brother stayed in Norway. I am guessing Victor Kortoe may have gone into Canada to work in lumber, many Norwegians immigrated to Canada to work in the lumber industry. He probably went into Canada about 1911. Any other ideas?
