HI List: I am hoping someone can help me out. I am looking for an obituary for the following person who died this week. I have already checked on line with the Ottawa Citizen and nothing is listed. Perhaps someone in Renfrew can check the local paper... The person I am looking for is Elizabeth R (Robinson) Green - 1927-2006 formerly Grand Manan Island NB, wife of the late Ivan N. Hi Heather, The death occurred December 21, 2006. It takes time - to make Funeral arrangements etc. If an obituary is to be published - it is usually quite close to the date of the funeral. Some families - choose not to publish an obituary - if the person is very elderly - no family members or friends to be notified. Much depends on the arrangements that need to be done - when a funeral is to take place etc. I would keep checking online daily. Some funerals take place on about the 3rd day after the death.
