Civil registrations of births in Ontario didn't start until 1869 so you would have to rely on church records to find her. The family was from Prussia. A lot of germanic people settled in the area of present day Kitchener/Waterloo in Ontario. Maybe that is a place to look. The Waterloo Branch, Ontario Genealogical Society http://www.waterlooogs.ca/index.htm might be able to help. There might be a U.S. Immigration record when they crossed the border but I have not done much research on border crossings so I can't suggest where to look. Good luck.
