Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/7aB.2ACEAE/896.1 Message Board Post: We are decendents of the Léandre-Louis Laroche and Émilie St-Denis from the Parish of Notre-Dame-du-Laus , Diocese of Mont-Laurier, in the Gatineau area of Québec, they were married in 1849, our grand mother Mathilda was one of the many children, the first five were listed as born in Lac-des-Sable, baptised and mostly were married in the above parish. The three or four children have no place of birth, we do not know if the family moved to the eastern state like a great majority of early canadian settlers and came back to live their last days in their native villages.
