You stated that "Pierre was likely married in Canada and that would be easy to find". PLEASE : Tell me how ! I have unsucessfully searched the Loiselle Marriage Index. Here are some known facts: Nazaire was born in Canada on Nov. 1, 1848. He migrated at age 17 (in 1865) to Ware, Mass. He married in Ware (1871) Elise Millette who came from St. Bruno. Quebec, Canada. The Town, The State, and The church have no record of the marriage. Both Nazaire's father and mother were born in Canada. The 1910 U.S. census shows that Nazaire was never naturalized and his place of birth was Fre Canada. which I assume means French Canada or (Que Canada ) due to an illegible entry. NOTE: Nazaire should be on the 1851 Canada census (age 2) and at age 12 on the 1861 census, with his father, Pierre, his mother, and perhaps his place of birth.
