Also, you may want to spend some time at the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick at : http://archives.gnb.ca/Archives/EN/OLS-e.aspx?Section=1 you might find some of your Mac\McKinnon ancestors. I searched the databases, and I found some Mac\Mckinnons. You have to type the name in one word though, no space between the Mac\Mc and Kinnon.
