Looking at the 1920 census I see he is listed with his wife Frances. It says he immigrated to the USA in 1907 and was naturalized in 1919. 1920;Census Place: West Bloomfield, Oakland, Michigan; Roll: T625_790; Page: 5B; Enumeration District: 209; Image: 998 Dale, Angus, head, age 21, Immigrated to the USA 1907, naturalized 1919, born in Canada Dale, Georgina, wife, age 17, born in Michigan It says Angus's father was born in England and his mother was born in Canada. The interesting part is, on the same page in the house before Angus's house is: Dale, Isaac, head, age 59, Immigrated to the USA 1907, born in England Dale, Georgina, wife, age 56, Immigrated to the USA 1907, born in Canada Dale, William, son, age 26, Immigrated to the USA 1907, naturalized 1919, born in Canada It is possible that Isaac and Georgina might be his parents. Maybe if you can locate their obituaries they might list Angus as a son and Frances as the daughter-in-law. At this site the 1901 Canadian Census is searchable: http://www.automatedgenealogy.com/census/index.html (I found an Isaac Dale but no Angus living with him). Oddly enough searching for Angus Dale in the 1901 Canadian Census came up with an Angus and a William Dale but living in the John & Mary Boyle household listed as his sons in London, Ontario. Very confusing.
