Help me if you can. I happened up on my 1/2 sisters grandparents immigration/naturalization papers here in the USA. However... He immigrated from Russia TO Canada and from Ft. Frances Ontario Canada to International Falls Minnesota....his wife's papers etc. say they arrived in the US "by foot" or by "bridge" so it appears they walked across the border but on his Declaration of Intention papers in the line where it says VESSEL they wrote Canadian Pacific Ry. So don't know if that is the "road" or "bridge" or what. Looking for some help. how can I find out WHERE they came into Canada. Most likely - obviously it was Ft. Frances Ontario but looking for like passenger and arrival records like Ellis Island has. Ship information etc. Please email me at [email protected] Thanks.
