Surnames: Rousseau Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.ca/mbexec/msg/5543/7aB.2ACEAE/2342 Message Board Post: I have been trying for 6 years to find information on my 2nd great grandfather, Charles Rousseau (Brousseau, Rousseaux, Brousseaux, Reso, Russaw---these are a few of the spelling variations). The only thing I know about Charles is that he was born Abt. 1830 somewhere in Canada. By 1860 he was living in Mackinac, Michigan with his wife, Charlotte Martin (her dad was Solomon Martin, born abt. 1796 somewhere in Canada). Charles and Charlotte disappeared after the Michigan 1880 Census. I can find nothing on them until my great grandfather, John Jonas Rousseau, lived in Minnesota (1910 census) If anyone can Help please contact me ASAP!!!! Thank you, Delayne
