He was married in Canada about 1830/31 to Elizabeth Muloso( possibly spelled Moloscon/Melanson?), she was born Jan. 12, 1805 somewhere in Canada. They had at least two children born in Canada, Florence, born in Dec. of 1831 and Charles, born in 1836. The family was in the United States for the birth of another child in 1837.
