    1. [CGW] Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force WW!
    2. One of my husbands ancestors (Alexander Crabb - residence 144 Paul Street, Syracuse, NY, USA) enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in W.W.I. I found his name and Attestation Paper for him -- at the top of his Attestation Paper it reads "2nd Depot Bn 1st C.O.R" and "B.C. R.M." Can anyone tell me where I can find more information on this? It seems strange to me that as an American (born in Scotland but immigrated when young) could join a Canadian Force? Thank you Angela
