Cemetery Records for Thomas CORBETT show that he passed away -in 1906 WHERE? Have you obtained the REGISTRATION of DEATH/Genealogical Registration of Death/ Long form Death Registration:? This will show all personal information required at the time - including names of parents, and mothers maiden name - All depends on the knowledge of the informant. Obtain the REGISTRATION - from the Vital Statistics Dept in the Province where he passed away. If you know where a marriage took place - the Vital Statistics Dept may have a Registration of Marriage - Long Form Marriage Certificate: **Registration contains all personal information required. **Certificate - is an extract of basic information taken from the Registration. Has only enough information to prove an event- without divulging other personal information - that is not required. Cemetery records will not hold all of the personal informatin about the deceased. Only what is required for their records. OBITUARY: May show names and locations of other family members . Not all Obituaries mention the names of parents - Not all show the place of birth. I don't have any imfor. on her arrival in either Canada or U.S.A. According to the imfor. I have she was married to a Jefferson Wilcox or Joseph Wilcox. I have one source that says she married an Indian in Browing Mt. at the Piegan Indian mission, and was disowned by her family. I can't verify that . The three children were adopted out of the Home of the Good Shephard in Seattle Wa.in 1910. My mother Geneva Wilcox was told that both her parents were dead. Her sister,s name is Annie and a brother Harvey Kenneth Johnson who is dead. Can't find an obituary on either parent. Jane Cowie's brother I have found but is also dead.
