I know its cheeky but do you know where I would go from here in trying to locate any of them, in that, I mean websites etc. I have tried looking through grave yards and come across a Lottie and William both of who are buriedin Brookside Cemertary, Winnipeg, but not sure if its them obviously. I have printed off the grave details but need to confirm?? Author: louiseroder1 Surnames: roder gerrad Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.canada.cangenweb/5337/mb.ashx Message Board Post: hi iv decided to post some information on here to see if anyone knows of my family or has any tips of where to go next with gathering more info. im appealing on information on the roder family that actually came from england but moved to ontario in canada. william roder my great great great uncle who was born in 1865 bethnal green england married a lady called florence also born in england in 1868 moved to canada ontario in their early years before they had their children. am not quite sure what year they married but it was in england. when they moved to canada they had 3 children one being maudie roder born in 1888 in ontaria the others were william roder born in 1890 also in ontaria and he died on 21.04.1992. their other daughter was called grace roder but she was born back in england on 14.10.1892 so at some stage they must of came back to england for a short time before going back again to canada. their son william roder ended up marrying a lady called muriel craven she ! was born in 1891 in canada i dont know much about his wife as yet. maudie roder their daughter married a frederick charles gerrad he was born on 21.09.1886 in canada and they had 2 children between them their son was called ralph frederick gerrad born on the 03.01.1915 ontario canada and their daughter was called gladys florence gerrad and she was also born in ontario canada on the 18.02.1913. we think their son ralph gerrad dieda around 21.10.1999 canada. anyone with any info just contact me here thankyou Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. We cannot find a marriage between Albert or Annie in the UK. I have found that they all emmigrated to Canada 22nd july in 1948 aboard the Aquitania (cunard white star line) sailing from Southampton uk to Halifax Canada. Alberts trade was a butcher.
