I finally saw the census data on line. It does state Canada...but it looks to be written after the fact. Different slant to the word and not as much pressure on the writing instrument. What that means, I am not sure. Now, a couple of things to search for. 1. Her death certificate. It might list parents. Was there an obituary...it could list other relatives alive at the time of her death. 2. The christening records for the children. They list witnesses, godparents. If one had the name Warner, you would have to figure they were related and can possibly check that path. 3. Look for cemetery records as well. Wish we knew the name of the mother. It could help. 4. The kid names of Henry and Gladys might reveal a brother or sister's name...but maybe for Sidney and not for Emily. 5. Look for the name Amelia as well. A possibility. I will continue to see what I can find. Hopefully others will jump in and add to all of this. Every bit helps. Back if I find something.......... Have a great day and don't give up. Sometimes you have to go after something very different to get to where you want to be! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I'm presuming she was likely to have been here in 1901 as she married in 1903. i am most grateful for any help, because i am at a complete loss many thanks sandra Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. William RODER my Gggrt uncle who was born in 1865 Bethnal Green England married a lady called Florence also born in England in 1868 Moved to Canada Ontario in their early years before they had their children. am not quite sure what year they married but it was in England. When they moved to Canada they had 3 children one being Maudie RODER born in 1888 in Ontaria The others were : William RODER born in 1890 also in Ontaria, He died on 21.04.1992. Their other daughter was called Grace RODER .but she was born back in England on 14.10.1892 so at some stage they must of came back to England for a short time before going back again to Canada. Their son William RODER ended up marrying a lady called Muriel CRAVEN she was born in 1891 in Canada . I don't know much about his wife as yet. Maudie RODER their daughter married Frederick Charles GERRAD He was born on 21.09.1886 in Canada. They had 2 children between them . Their son was called Ralph Frederick GERRAD born on the 03.01.1915 Ontario Canada. Their daughter was called Gladys Florence GERRAD. She was also born in Ontario Canada on the 18.02.1913. We think their son Ralph GERRAD died around 21.10.1999 Canada. Anyone with any info just contact me here Thank you Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I cannot find it. Was it the English census? If so, please list everything associated with it if possible as we cannot access the 1911 British census at this time. If it is the Canadian census, spell the names exactly as indexed. See the marriage listing. Found an Amelia in the 1891 Canadian census, mother named married who is a widown. Do you know the full name of her mother? The names of any sisters or brothers? Anything that will help place her. What was her religion? There is a good chance she was born in English Canada...which makes accessing the records on line a bit more difficult. Anything you can add could help.
