Her family history is also along the lines of Drown, Ingalls, Cleveland, etc. I have also found the women "Mist on the Mountain" but have no information. You mentioned forensic evidence. Do you have that forensic evidence? Do you know how I would go about verifying an Indian heritage for my sister-in-law? I am not certain that Frank Giblin settled in Hamilton.Someone who was helping me suggested this. There is no death record of him in all in Canada. The Vital Records office say that owing to privacy they can not tell me if he is drawing a pension.I sent them a letter to forward to him,but I got no reply to the letter. If he is alive he would now be 84 years old I live in Ireland. The Canadian Embassy in Ireland could not offer any help either. There has been some creative transcribing so i have looked page by page because the names wouldn't come up through the search engine. I have copies of the homestead applications and all the other documents in each file. The problem I have run into is- where did these people go when they abandoned their homestead. Some bought other land and some moved back to the US. With the Sask Vital Stats not wanting to release any info on births other than those that are 100 years old I was looking for another avenue to figure out some more of the family members that where born in that time frame of 1912to 1920.
