The key here is to find out from his marriage record what his parents names were. THe latter were likely married in Québec and therefore it becomes easy to research their ancestry. Let me have the info when you come across his parents names and I should be in a position to help. bonne chance, Jean-Marie

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/7aB.2ACEAE/611.1 Message Board Post: I don't know if there is any connection here, but my grandmother married a William (Bill) Falconer(not sure of the date), and all I know is that he came across from Ireland by himself, and settled here in Canada, they married in Ontario, from what I know this was a second marriage for both of them. William (who I named my daughter after) was very quiet about his family history, and really never fully answered any questions other than what I have provided. We do however know that he is indeed a Falconer and from Ireland. I doubt this helps you much, but being generally around the same time, and place, maybe you can dig something up from it. If you do please let me know as well, although William was a step-grandfather, he was loved very much! He had something really special about him and touched everyone he met.. Thanks and good luck to you. Angie
