Her father, my half-uncle, was Stanley Gartside Doherty, who died at Vancouver in 1928, and her mother was Amy nee Brendon. I don't know if Joyce has married, so don't know whether she is now Joyce Doherty or Joyce Something Else. Nor do I indeed know if she is still alive, but I should so dearly like to find out. Can anyone help? The BC archives marriages stop at 1927, births at 1902 and deaths at 1982, so none of them are any help.

Louis and Marguerite were married June 07 1852 in St-Anselme Quebec and both died in Dayton Township, Hennepin County Minnesota. Now, from what I understand, Narcisse was also known as Nels. I don't know if this is the same person, but there is a Nels Martineau CertID# 1921-MN-016411 who died January 16 1921 County of death : Hennepin. Like Jean-Marie said, if you can get a copy of Narcisse's marriage record, you'll most likely get his parents names. Good luck, Esther
