Neither answer really helps to narrow down "where" though, unfortunately. Have you checked immigration or citizenship records? They may state an exact place.

I guess our ancestors just could make up their minds on how to spell our last name. That is what has presented the biggest problem I was aware that Isaac and Charlotte lived in NB, and now that I have heard from you hopefully, I can start there. Looking forward to hearing more from you Danielle

I'm at a bit of a disadvantage as I don't know the name of the ship or the exact date he arrived in Canada. I know that he left from Belfast. He came to Canada in or around 1928. His plans were to come the Philadelphia. For some unknown reason he wasn't able to get arrive in the States. He had to sail first to Canada (family stories claim to Montreal). He then left for Philadelphia. I was able to access the ship documentations for my grandmother who emigrated in 1920. She arrived through Ellis Island. I found the information on ellisislandrecords.org using just her name. I was able to narrow it down with the town she registered as her residence. Is there a similar website in Canada for ship passengers? One where I can put in my grandfather's info and find out what ship he came in on and where he arrived? Any help would be appreciated! Robert~

What's New February 27, 2003 Historical Pictures updated with three postcards donated by Angela Justason; #1-Magaguadvavic R. and Falls-check out spelling of name #2. Sand or Scout Beach under Lake Utopia pic. and #3. View from Trooke's Mountain-very special-found under Neighbours. Thank you Angela, it is so nice when people donate material. Vital Records updated with Vital Records from Saint Croix Courier 1918-1925 and fifteen records from the Scholl Funeral Home, Calais, ME all pertaining to St. George residents. One thing that I noticed, all deaths were from 1910-1912, was that there was only one funeral held in a church out of the 15 records found, and also the elderly age of some of the women who were housekeepers, and widows.
