    3. Hi Margaret, Contact the Provincial Archive in Ontario. http://www.archives.gov.on.ca/english/index.html http://www.archives.gov.on.ca/english/virtualrr/info9.htm The death certificates should have been transfered to the archive - when they became Public Record. I don't know if the Ontario Vital Records - have been made available to some Public or University Libraries - worth checking with them. Also - the Latter Day Saints - Family history centres - would probably have these records - if they had been made available. There are Volunteers at the following- Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness site: http://www.raogk.org/ontario.htm Any one who offers lookups of Public Record should be able to help. Others - may offer cemetery photo's. You might also want to check with the Provincial Archive - re Wills /Probated Wills: Probated wills - should have the original /official Will - Value of estate - distribution of the estate - and Names and Addresses - and perhaps occupations of the Beneficiaries living at the time. 3. Subject: Virus received,Fri.Mar.28 I received a virus that attached to my address book. I was notified as I am notifiying you. I don't know where it originated, but I found it and deleted it. Because you are in my address book, you may have been infected. The virus was passed on to me via someone elses e-mail (without me opening the e-mail) and my address book in turn was infected. Please follow the instructions below for removal. The virus (called jdbgmgr.exe) is not detected by Norton or Macafee anti-virus systems. It sits for 14 days before damaging the system. It is sent automatically by messenger and the address book, whether or not you send and email to your contacts. Sorry. Here's how to check for the virus and get rid of it. 1. Go to start, Find or Search option 2. In the file/folders option, type the name: jdbgmgr.exe 3. Be sure you search your C-drive and all the sub-folders and any other drives you may have. 4. Click: "Find Now" 5. The virus has a gray teddy bear icon with the name jdbgmgr.exe DO NOT OPEN IT! 6. Go to edit (on the menu bar) and choose SELECT ALL to highlight the file without opening it. 7. Now go to the File (on the menu bar) and select DELETE. It will then go to the recycle bin. IF YOU FIND THE VIRUS, as I did, you must contact all the people in your address book so they can eradicate it in their own address books. To do this : 1. Open a new email message 2. Click the icon of the addrss book next to the "TO" 3. Highlight every name and add to "BCC" 4. Copy this message, enter subject and paste to email, and send.

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Miller, Kerr, Henderson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/7aB.2ACEAE/702.1 Message Board Post: I am aware of several MILLER families in early Quebec Province. I believe there were three MILLER families (or MILLER men) who migrated from Laconia, NH, USA, to Argenteuil Province, Quebec Province, Canada, right around 1825. My research is on four KERR siblings who migrated to the same County at the same time. When they came here from County Sligo, Ireland, the married couples were: William and Mary (KERR) HENDERSON, Patrick and Elizabeth (?) KERR, and John and Ann (HENDERSON) KERR, and they had a single sister, Elizabeth KERR. After they settled in Argenteuil County, Elizabeth married Levi MILLER who had moved up there from Laconia, NH. (Group from Ireland also included a Samuel HENDERSON and his wife (?)...) All four (adult) siblings had many children. Two first cousins, Robert KERR and Elizabeth HENDERSON, were born in North Gore in 1827, and they married there in 1851. They were my great-great-grandparents. Most of the many children of the above families .. remained in Quebec Province, but several of them did move over the border into Ontario Province. The information I would have access to would be for the 1800's and into the early 1900's. I do not think it includes the later 1900's.
