(1600's our forefather) I am looking for info a lot of info on the following families: Boucher, Quesnel, Poupart, Mogoy, Mite8ameg8k8e Couc I am first off interested in my late grandpas (George Joseph Cote) mothers side of the family. His parents were: Velore Joseph Cote & Lillie "Bertha" Boucher. I would love to know any of the following: who she was, where she was born, what her ethnic background was exactly, who her parents/siblings where, who her grandparents where etc...The info is below. ANY help is appreciated! I have found a lot of info on the Cote/Quesnel/Poupart families but keep hitting a wall with the Boucher side. Secondly i would like any info on any of the Quesnel/Poupart lines. Who knows what else I may learn about them. My great great grandpa Remi Cote (Velore Josephs father & mother) was married to a Catherine Poupart. There was some METIS found in her line. I am very curious about this. I know of Ignace Cote (Remis father) but little is known about Remis mother Ursule Quesnel. When she was born/died/where she was from etc...There is a lot of Algonquin Indian on this side. The names Marie Suzanne Mogoy & Marie Mite8ameg8k8e Couc are very interesting to research. I can't seem to find anything on Marie Suzanne Mogoy. I would love to know more about her family as well. I do however have TONS of info on Marie Mite8ameg8k8e Couc. Surnames: Ladouceur, Kelty Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/7aB.2ACEAE/731 Message Board Post: Seeking details of Florestine LADOUCEUR and Peter KELTY. In 1901 they're listed in the Russell Township census. About Florestine I have no details whatever, other than a birth (1867) and death date. (She and Peter - who died in 1909 - are buried in the St. Viateur RC cemetery in Limoges.) In 1901 Peter was 51, so born in 1850, possibly in Ireland. On the census it says "Irlandaise, Am." and "E.U." 1888 (presumably date of entry into Canada). Two of their children were Edward Joseph (b. 1888/1889) and Ida (b. 1892). Edith Maud Kelty, though born in 1893 (Cobalt), was not in the census. Perhaps she's actually "Ida". Any assistance regarding Florestine and Peter would be greatly appreciated.
