    3. Hi Marcus, About the most atmospheric cemetery you could get would be Highgate cemetery in Highgate, North London, UK, there are some fantastic and spooky mausoleums and headstones there, including the grave of Karl Marx and many other famous people from the past. 2. Marcus Parmegiani
    3. Hello, I am hoping someone out there may be of some assistance. I am looking for a location to shoot a movie in. We need a decent sized, atmospheric cemetery, kind of tumbledown and unkempt, with a good variety of graves (mainly late nineteenth and early 20th century preferably). Ideally, it is rural, has a load of trees and a sightline to a dirt road and a place where a shack could be built. The best visually I have seen so far are the Bagdad cemetery in Pensacola, FA, and the Laurel Cemetery in Georgia. http://www.filmnorthflorida.com/locations/Bagdad:-Cemetery http://www.kingtisdell.org/laurel.htm It doesn't have to be an exact match. If there is anything like this out there that you know of, please contact me I would be really grateful for tips on any cemeteries that you may know about, especially if there are pictures of them. At this point we're not even worrying about whether we could get permission to shoot in them. We'll deal with that later. Many thanks. Marcus Parmegiani Researcher Deep Fried Films Inc. 2. Looking to confirm/add to parents, B/M/D info for this couple and their children: Charles S. Leclair 1835 Berlin, VT-1914 Barton, VT and Julia Stone Lapierre born Canada 1847-1930 Barton, VT per their son's marriage record, (Trefley Carl LACLAIR & Lillian Alice GIBNEY married on March 3, 1924, St. Rose de Lima Church of Littleton, NH.) and their graves in St. Paul's Cemetery Barton, VT. Cemetery lists them as Laclair, Charles 1835-1914 his wife Julia Laclair Laclair, Julia (Derocher) 1847-1930 When the 1880 census was taken in Barton, VT Charles is found listed as married even though his first wife Rosalie CHATEAUNEUF died in early 1878 she was only 38 (She is buried in Albany, VT) and Julie is not listed in the house nor is any other adult female. Regrettably, we do not have a Québec-wide death repertory for that period. What a strange translation of his surname to Wheeler which would have to initiate from La Roue. Roux is a mix of flour and butter that is cooked and turns light brown. Héroux and Leroux would never make Wheeler but I have no right to judge. keep in touch, Jean-Marie Hull, québec

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/7aB.2ACEAE/805.1 Message Board Post: bonjour Roy: I am on my way to my genealogical society and I will see what I could find for you. Québec does not have a province-wide birth/baptism registry. Some have been made for few parishes. Therefore, one has to rely on church records. Such research is time-consuming unless you know the name of the parish and the approximate time of baptism. Children were normally born in the parish where the parents were married unless the family moved often. But keep in mind that the marriage occurred in Québec in the parish of the bride. For genealogical purposes, marriage dates are more meaningful that DOBs and DODs. Baptism and birth and death and burial dates are no problem in Québec prior to 1800 because of the PRDH data but after that period it is a different story. au revoir, Jean-Marie

Surnames: Roy Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/7aB.2ACEAE/805 Message Board Post: I am trying to find out his date and place of birth, parents names and siblings. All I know is that he married Florence Ratte August 4, 1924 in Beauce Quebec. I am having a huge problem as I don't speak or understand a word of French. I hope someone can help me. I know that I still have relatives in Canada (my mother told me) but they don't speak or understand English.
