    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/7aB.2ACEAE/890.1 Message Board Post: Hello Vicki: I am not related but saw your posting and started playing detective. On the site of Latter Day Saints, 1881 Canadian Census, I did find the following. Hope it's the right one. Individual Record: Odilou CHENEVERT--male Other Information: Birth Year----1833 Birthplace-----QB Quebec Age------48 Occupation-----Farmer Ethnic Origin----French Head of household----Odilou Chenevert Religion----Catholic Source Information: Census Place----Colchester North, Essex, Ontario Family History Library Film---1375916 NA Film Number---C13280 Dustruct-----181 Sub-district-----D Page Number----81 Household Number-----404 HOUSEHOLD RECORD: CHENEVERT, ODILOU, married, male, French, age 48, born Q.B. Quebec, farmer, Catholic CHENEVERT, MARY, married, female, french, age 35, born Quebec, catholic CHENEVERT, JOSEPH, male, french, age 15, born Ontario, catholic. CHENEVERT, NOPALIEN, male, french, age 13, born Ont. CHENEVERT, MARY, female, french, age 10, born Ont. CHENEVERT, ALBERT, male, french, age 9, born Ont. CHENEVERT, ARTHUR, male, french, age 7, born Ont. CHENEVERT, ELVINA, female, french, age 4,born Ont. CHENEVERT, EUGENE, female, french, age 4, born Ont. CHENEVERT, ISABELL, female, french, age 2, born Ont SOURCE INFORMATION: As above source It seems Arthur had a sister Eugene according to the census and Eugene had a twin sister Elvina. So is Eugene a boy or girl? You stated Arthur had a brother. Also, on the 1881 census, Quebec, there are 19 Moise Morin, but age wise there is only one possiblity. His age is 70, so born 1811, BUT, born in Quebec, not France. Would you like his information? If this is the right Moise, Odilou has a brother and sister still at home. Well, enough for now. I am off to check the 1871 census. Since all the children where born in Ontario, the first two should appear on the 1871 census Do you think we have the right family? Ciao for now. Sandy
