He died on 12/4/1934. I have a bill from the S.A.Keen Mortuary in Digby Nova Scotia, which was mailed to my grandmother, Jessie M. Nelson in Smith's Cove, Nova Scotia, for his funeral ($98.00). Unfortunately there is no indication as to which cemetary he is buried in. I have found him in the 1920, Manchester Ct. Census living with his 1st wife Sarah E. and daughter Ruth. He is also in the 1930 Manchester, Ct. census with his 2nd wife Jessie Mae (Lawrence)(West)Nelson. He may have lived in the Lynn Ma. and Shirley Ma. areas as well.

Good Morning, Good Morning, Have you been in contact with the Sandon Historical Society? They may have some information .The site has a great photo as well as contact info. http://www.slocanlake.com/sandon/ I just checked the Govt of B.C. Vital Events Index -Colonial Marriages 1852 - 1871 - Marriages 1872 - 1927 - Births 1872 - 1901 - Deaths - 1872 - 1982. Larry/Lawrence Doolin does not appear in these indexes. But there are a number of other Doolin surnames: Perhaps connected to Lawrence Doolin ? Groom Name: George Mcdermid Doolin Bride Name: Meria Swanson Event Date: 1924 8 25 (Yr/Mo/Day) Event Place: Vancouver Reg. Number: 1924-09-270004 B.C. Archives Microfilm Number: B13747 GSU Microfilm Number: 2074317 Deaths: Robert,age20 1947-Vancouver, Margaret Edwina age 22 1935, Vancouver. Johanna Edith age 26 1941 -Vancouver , Emily Edith - age 69, 1947 - Vancouver. If you believe that any/ all of these people may be connected to your Lawrence Doolin - I would be happy to add these to my lookups when I am at the library - probably on Friday. - My pleasure. While I was at the LDS web site, I did a search for the NICLOUX surname. They have that name as being very popular in FRANCE. But, they don't have anyone with that surname in North America. They have an alternate spelling as variations on NICOLL. Could your ancestor have a different spelling on records in Canada?
