Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/7aB.2ACEAE/900.2 Message Board Post: Very few Canadian ship lists have been transcribed. While there is an index to arrivals on site at the National Archives in Ottawa, you still have to go through the microfilm to find the ships. The microfilm are available through interlibrary loan from the National Archives in Ottawa, and I am not sure, but I think that there is also a library in Toronto with them. The microfilm are arranged by port, by year. Some films are backwards, so you have to rewind before viewing. I just did a print of a list from that ship today, but it was arriving in Halifax, not Quebec City. Good luck

When in Willowbank cemetery, I observed Finnigans close to the McMaster section. I will copy the grave information for you. I haven't been to Amherst Island in all the years I've lived in Kingston, it would make for a great Sunday hike in the fall. I am slowly wrestling pictures from my Aunt. Now I need to purchase a scanner. Time to make a web sight. I was browsing McCormick's who had a homepage (they were in Indianna) when I came across a picture of Susan McCormick in 1875. I sent the picture to my Father, who asked me why my "Sister" was dressed in the old clothing. Where ever these McCormick's came from, they have to be related. Talk soon. John Merry
