Sarah Radford was born about 1819 in Devonshire, England. The information I have is that she married Joseph Leach about 1852. I do not have any information about her being married prior but it seems to fit. Could her maiden name be Sarah Radford...her 1st marriage was to John Hill and her 2nd marriage to Joseph Leach? I think we're on to something! Allison

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/7aB.2ACEAE/1851.2 Message Board Post: Hi Dixie, I think we might have a common link with the Leach/Hill/Radford families. It does get confusing because of so many Sarahs and second marriages. But I think your John Leach might be my Joseph Leach. I'll try to be simple! I have a Sarah Hill 1814-1886 married a Hugh Radford 1816-1888. Hugh Radford had a sister also named Sarah b.1819. This Sarah, Hugh Radford's sister, married Joseph Leach around 1851-1852. This was Joseph Leach's second marriage. Could it also have been Sarah's second marriage?Anyway... Joseph Leach 1817-1873 and Sarah Radford Leach had children that match the ones you listed:Thomas b.1852, Joseph b. 1854, Sarah b. 1858, Matilda b.1861, and Harriet b.1866. I know this information from the 1871 census. They were living in west wawanosh, huron county ontario. I have more information on the Leaches and the Radfords I can share with you. Feel free to email me at [email protected] I think we definately have a connection and might be able to help one another! Allison (Leach) Piasecki

    1. Alphonse & Celestine Boudreau - can not trace them
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: BOUDREAU, BOUDREAUX, ALLAIN Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/7aB.2ACEAE/2241 Message Board Post: The only Boudreaus we can trace are Alphonse (b. 1825) and his brother Celestine Boudreau (b. 1825). We know they must have had other names, however, we don't know if these are their given names, nicknames or their middle names. I think it would help greatly in the research of my Boudreau line if their other names were found....These Boudreau brothers first surface in St. Anne area around 1850. Alphonse married Ceclia Allain (b. abt. 1827....Allen), daughter of Michael Allain, in Will County, Illinois, on 19 October 1851 and Celestine married Sophie Deslauries dit Legault, (b. about 1827) on 31 August 1860 in KANKAKEE County. Alphonse and his family travelel to Dakota County, Nebraska, in 1868 and Celestine (Celectin) stayed in Illinois and settled in Iroquois County, Beaver Township. Alphonse and Celcia (Allain) Boudreau's four children were born in St. Anne, Illinois: Addeline, Alfred Alexandre, Charles Celestine and Angeline. Alphonse Boudreau's daughter Angeline Boudreau Waldman's daughter told the family that our line was from Acadia, however, no Boudreau researcher has made the connection. My father was told our line came from Quebec, but we cannot trace them to there either. We found papers that spelt our last name witn an "X".....years ago, but those papers are now gone. We thought, we would be able to trace our Boudreau line through Lou Boudreau, as we have been told (2x great) grandfathers of Lou and my father were brothers, again no researcher can make a connection. So it looks like Alphonse and Celestine Boudreau are orphans, our line appears to be untraceable. Maybe, some day a Boudreau cousin will read this query and find me, that may be my only hope of finding our Boudreau line. If any Boudreau researcher has any ideas of how we could find the Alphonse and Celestine line, I would love to hear them. We can use all the help we can get....Thank you!

He is not listed that year as living in any other province and I checked all Marcy last names. If he is listed elsewhere that year it is with a different spelling. http://automatedgenealogy.com/census/cache/NationalSummary.jsp there is the ontario link i use sometimes http://www.ogs.on.ca/ogspi/welcome.htm
