There were 2 older children Mary A Tufnail c.1876 and George O (maybe Owen) c1880 also born in Swanscombe. They may have come to Canada later - I am not sure. It's possible he was in WWI. But I don't think so. I haven't found a draft registration card but I guess he could have enlisted. His brother was killed in action in WW1. Thanks for your suggestions. My grandmother said he was a hobo and road the rails. He was born in Germany in 1882. Grew up in Wisconsin. He most probably died in 50's or 60's. I know for sure he was in a reformatory in 1900 in Green Bay Wisconsin. He is missing after that. Thanks .
